Procedures for Yachts Arriving into Trinidad

No Quarantine Required

Only Fully Vaccinated persons will be allowed entry to Trinidad & Tobago.

Fully Vaccinated persons will not be required to quarantine on arrival.

Your first port of entry must be Trinidad, once cleared, if you wish to proceed to Tobago then you may.

Vaccination*

All adults must have a verifiable vaccination card showing full vaccination with at least 2 weeks having past since final vaccine dose. Children (persons under the age of 18 years) It must be noted at this time WHO has not approved the use of vaccines in this category (with the exception of the Pfizer Biontech vaccine (Cominarty); which is authorized for ages 12 years and above, however, at this time, remains largely unavailable to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. As such an unvaccinated child travelling with a vaccinated adult will be allowed entry. The child must have verifiable negative PCR test re-sults no more than 72 hours priorto arrival and must take another PCR test 3-5 days after arrival. All results negative or positive to be reported to the CMHO and or CMO. Those who are positive will be required to isolate immediately at the discretion of the CMOH and an additional quarantine order will be applied.

PCR Test*

All adults must have a verifiable negative PCR test results no more than 72 hours before arrival.

Children under the age of 18 must have verifiable negative PCR test results no more than 72 hours prior to arrival and must take another test 3 days after arrival.

Scan and Email

Please fill out your Float Plan and your Health Declaration Forms. Follow all instructions on the form and Send as .jpeg or .pdf via email to the addresses listed on the Float Plan. Please cc Jesse James and YSATT. They will notify other agencies (CMO/Port Health, Customs, Immigration), on your behalf.

Stay in Contact

Radio North Post Radio (VHF 16 or SSB 2182kHz) on approach to Trinidad & Tobago to inform of your arrival.

Radio TT Coast Guard upon approach to Trinidad & Tobago and arrival to anchorage in Chaguaramas.

Health Check and Clear

When you arrive into Trinidad, alert TTCG & YSATT. You will be required to take up a mooring ball or anchor in the Cha-guaramas Bay with your Quarantine Flag raised until Port Health can do their checks for Vaccination, Test results and crew temperatures. ONLY AFTER Port Health checks, then proceed to Customs and Immigration.

Observe COVID Rules

Persons Returning to their Yachts by air
